comertose

The apparent intellectual ability of someone in a position of extraordinary authority who relies on Faux News for actionable information.
The congressman told ClusterFox that he and the Senator have reviewed a whistleblower letter alleging “a criminal scheme involving the then-Vice President and a foreign national”, and found the source “credible.” However, in a remarkably comertose moment, he acknowledged that his understanding of the situation derived from Faux News and Hannity, so he wasn't actually delivering any news on air, merely regurgitating the talking points the network had already constructed for the occasion.
