The making of arts or crafts for one's own benefit or pleasure. Usually, but not always to the point of completion of that project. Crafterbation may involve hands, fingers, tools, everyday objects, and/or special supplies.

Jane doesn't sell or give away her crafts. She only makes stuff because she enjoys a healthy level of crafterbation.
