An app that "is like Twitter but ..."

Typically the `but` is something that Twitter already does or is such a minor difference it doesn't matter. Alternatively it could be very different than Twitter but, in those cases, it's typically an undesirable app.

Herp Derpington: "You're a programmer? I have an idea for an app. It's call My Log-Log. It's like Twitter but for your time in the bathroom."
Dev: "Not another twitterbutt."

not online everyday.

Adverb to describe online habits of someone who is not a daily, weekly, or even monthly user of facebook, twitter, or instagram.

Person: How did you not know that my grandmother is in the hospital? I posted all over facebook & Instagram.

Me: Sorry, I'm only online twittermittently and didn't know. Is she OK? Also, do you have her recipe for snickerdoodles?

The act of rapidly increasing ones following on twitter by following as many followers as possible and then un-following them to maintain a high ratio

Bob : "Hey have you seen Dave's following on twitter, a great ratio for a nobody!" Jeff: "Yeah Dave has gone on a massive twitterbulk"

That Twitternetter was twexting with his mobile Internet device via WiFi because his cellphone did not have a signal.

Twitterbater 

A person who has a Twitter account they regularly update and that no one beyond themselves reads. Aware of the lack of traffic, they keep at it, seemingly Twittering only for their own self-gratification or to make themselves feel more important/special.

Guy #1 -- "Hey, guys! You should check out my Twitter page, it's crazy cool!" *walks off*

Guy #2 -- "Think that guy knows no one cares?"

Guy #3 -- "Yeah, definite Twitterbater."
