pokeshipping

The reason many a pokeshipper tend to watch the series. Basically the belief that the two main characters (Ash/Satoshi and Misty/Kasumi) of the animé series Pocket Monsters/Pokémon, are a romantic couple. It is considered to be the most popular shipping in the fandom, while many find it to be incredibly annoying.
The company that dubs the series, 4Kids entertainment, tend to add shipping 'hints' that didn't exist in the original version of the series. This often leads to confusion and arguments between shipping fans.
