menstrous

(adj.) having the ugly or frightening behaviour often attributed to "monsters" manifested by women when experiencing PMS.

The extrinsic-origin of the word is to be found in Slavic languages where "monstrum" stands for "monster", and so a noun of this word (a lady in PMS) would therefore be a "menstrum".
Selena threw her menstrous look at him and in it he could see all the fearful wretchedness of a wild animal captured.
