Synonymous with, "Do you want to eat?"

It comes from the culture of LISP computer programmers, where a "p" suffix was often used in names to indicate a predicate--a question. The result of asking, either in a LISP program or in real life, was either "t" for true/yes, or "nil" for false/no.

fast food politics

n. The scandals, plots, intrigues, and gossip that often infuse the work environment of a fast food restaurant.
Jose: "That coworker is the fourth chick Jacob has banged in this restaurant. These people have no shame."

Joe: "This is typical fast food politics."

Jose: "Did Hunter just snitch on others and cause a nervous breakdown at this store?"

Joe: "Yeah, he stirred things up by going back and forth between people, and everyone is stewing over this fake drama. He may just want more hours by tattling and throwing others under the bus by exaggerating things. It's typical fast food politics."

mailbox food

On a Saturday in May, people are asked to put non~perishable food on their mailboxes for the letter carriers to pick up & it goes to a local food bank.
I had to put my mailbox food out the night before because I have a very late schedule. It makes me happy to help people.

perishable food

FOOD THAT YOU SHOULD NOT BRING TO THE AVE. The likelihood that this food goes bad is 100%. An avetard will completely forget about this food in the pantry and let it go bad. When it goes bad, an avetard still won't give a shit, and will most likely eat it anyways no matter how old it is and how bad it smells. Most of the food at the Ave also most likely ends up being covered in mold.
Yea, Ian ate those beans that were just sitting on the counter for 3 weeks that smelled like shit even though I told him they were an example of a perishable food, he said they tasted good.

food piggy

This is what I call the poorly educated that hold their eating utensil like a shovel and generally act like a pig. 'Struction workers are famous for it.
Look at that deplorable food piggy shoveling food into his face. Let's go somewhere else.

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
