Snowclone

A snowclone is a contemporary and highly-adaptable phrase or word susceptible to a heavy-degree of banality (similar to that of a cliché) because of it's vulnerability to accede among a multitude of varying audiences.

A snowclone can either refer to the original word or phrasal - as well as it's beneficiaries - so long as the general form or template is readily detectable. e.g. The phrase "Keep Calm & Chive-On" is a snowclone of "Keep Calm & Carry-On" however both phrases meet the requirements to be considered a snowclone.

Well know British-American linguistic, Geoffrey K. Pullum, and American television writer and scientist, Glen Whitman, are credited for producing the term in the early 2000's.

The term "snowclone" is believed to be a a fusing of the words "snow" and "clone" as "snow" is a word often associated with a high concentration synonyms (replacement terms), the word "clone" typically connotes replication and/or repetition.
-"YOLO- You Only Live Once" snowcloned into "OOYL- Only Once You Live" among others.
-"Netflix & Chill" is a snowclone along with it's many predecessors such as: "Hulu & Hang" or "4Chan & Van" as a way to imply a sexual interest is present.
-Drake's infamous lyric: "Started From the Bottom Now We Here" became a snowclone almost instantly, prompting many jokes and memes including well-regarded "Started From the Bottom Now We a Little Bit Above the Bottom" jab.

Doggie Doo Snowcone

As defined by former GWAR member The Sexecutioner, a doggie doo snowcone is the last of his sexual demands outlined the song of his namesake; the previous demands being: genital herpes, golden showers, and a spiked dog collar. This final demand, the doggie doo snowcone, is a rather obscure take on the classic yellow snowcone, however fresh dog shit is substituted in the place of urine. Now a cone full of snow, topped with steamy dog feces does not complete the act of "doing" a doggie doo snowcone. In order to finish this transaction, the cone must be fervently mashed against some part, preferably the face, of a person's body while engaged in a sexual act.
Randy got an "F" on his spelling test; that night he went without his doggie doo snowcone. He was, however, still raped by his father.

snowclone

A type of formula-based cliché that uses an old idiom in a new context. A common example: "X is the new Y", a generic form of the original expression "pink is the new black". In order to apply the snowclone, X and Y should be substituted with new words or phrases. For the origin of the word, and to see a list of snowclones, go to Wikipedia.

Burger and a Grape Snowcone

A ‘Burger and Grape Snow Cone’ is an outdated courting method where a man takes a girl on a date, but rather than raping her, the man spends most of the date making sure she is having a good time. The man would often drop the girl off, safely, back at home.

This metaphor would later confuse a younger generation of Tik-Tok users, who are used to everything being a sexual euphemism, as it often is in “Bro-Country.”
You know in that song Chattahoochee when he says ‘Settle for a Burger and a Grape Snowcone” he is actually talking about getting some dome?” - Some dumb bitch on Tik-Tok.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
