996 + 4 = 1000

In one episode of Pimp My Ride, host Xzibit can be seen wearing a black t-shirt with silver lettering which declares, quite enigmatically, "996 + 4 = 1000".
Seriously, wtf does that mean? I guess 996 plus 4 does technically equal 1000...

A punk-rock band formed by Mark Hoppus(Ex:Blink-182) and Travis Barker(Ex:Blink-182,Transplants And Boxcar Racer), . It also includes members Shane Gallagher (Ex-The Nervous Return) and Craig Fairbaugh (Ex-Transplants) who replaced Carol Heller after she left mid-recording process.

The band was a side project thought up by Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker while they were touring in Britain. They decided to make the dial out code of Britain, +44, the band name because they were currently in the country and liked the sound of it. The band was created to only make one album which they did. The album was called 'When Your Heart Stops Beating'.

The band was formed during the hiatus of Blink 182. Rumors circulate that it was a bit of revenge from Mark Hoppus to Tom Delonge because Tom made a side project called Box Car Racer and didn't invite Mark to be a large part of it. Tom had isolated himself more and more from the band until he eventually quit. After he quit Mark and Travis got together to form +44.
Yeah, I heard that Mark just made +44 to piss off Tom.

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.

countrypolitan

Term used to describe someone who is a mix of both rural (country) and urban (metropolitan) lifestyles/upbringings. He/she is typically equally comfortable in both settings and is able to seamlessly slip back and forth between the two, appreciating the characteristics of each.
That ol' gal of mine drives the 12 lane freeway during the week and a John Deere on the weekends. She likes opra and the Grand Ol' Opry. I love them countrypolitan women.
