Oh My God! The Britney Show killed Kenny! You bastards!
An inevitable event that happens to all males during the adolescent period in which they encounter a female who has time for everything except them. The term was coined from the infamous Travis/Britney incident of '06 which left 56 dead, 34 injured, and crippled a young child.
"Dude, she already had plans for the weekend with this Greg guy. I guess thats the Britney Phenomenon."
It's when you see someone dancing and singing along to a song but you can't hear them singing. Usually done at traffic lights when peopledon't know that they're being watched. It's lipsyncing in reverse. Named after a performer who is renowned lipsyncing and dancing to her songs.
I was stopped at the traffic lights and this chic pulled up behind me. I looked in the rearview and she was Doin' the Britney, She was grooving about, waving her hands and singing to a song. I couldn't help but have a good laugh.

A lighthearted reaction upon receiving disappointing news of some sort. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.
You didn't get any napkins with your takeout pork fried rice? Womp womp.
A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.
For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
