A left(ist)ish person is someone who shows traits of anti-capitalism and anti-oppression (leftism) while they may not necessarily be full on leftist or identity as such. This puts them between leftists and the centre-left.

Babyblu is a leftish, I'm not sure if they completely embrace collectivizing the means of production.

Those on the "Left" exhibiting actions, stances, and tactics characterized by the Right. The Leftish are typically found advocating for war, corporatism, intelligence agencies, mass-surveillance, censorship, xenophobia, or other CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, New York Times talking points. Leftish are composed of elites who knowingly create propaganda and the populace who uncritically consume propaganda, with the former preying on the latter's desire for confirmation bias. The Leftish ranks have grown due to emotional investment in the Democratic Party, the First Black President, or the First Woman President and their "classy" repackaging of policies from the Right. Leftish politics are rooted in narcissism and often lack depth, so they're often eviscerated by those more informed and honest than them. This infuriates the Leftish, triggers cognitive dissonance, and fuels animosity toward the Left. The Leftish can be found resurrecting McCarthyism, both as therapy for Trump Derangement Syndrome and as a tactic for silencing and censoring dissenting viewpoints from the Right and especially from their Left. The Leftish have #Resistance hashtags and their clarion call is to resist Trump at all costs, focusing on the symptom of widespread corruption while ignoring the underlying systemic disease that created it. To spot the Leftish in the wild, look for cars that cut you off in traffic while unironically displaying a Coexist bumper sticker next to an Obama/Clinton bumper sticker.

Latte-sipping Leftist

A latte-sipping leftist, or simply a "latte-sipper", is a pejorative term that is used to describe a type of socialist who usually lives in the inner city, or one who shares the views of those socialists that do live in such areas. The term comes from the perception of inner-city leftists congregating at cafes and drinking lattes whilst lamenting over societal problems. They differ from other leftists by their anarchy-like mindset and a provocative, aggressive and uncompromising approach to the support of fashionable socio-progressive causes. Notably they perceive themselves as being more open-minded, intelligent and enlightened than everyone else. This mentality is further reinforced if they have a tertiary qualification which is typically, but not always, a university degree in the arts and social sciences. They often are described as being arrogant, abusive, sanctimonious and self-righteous. While usually criticised by conservatives, they are also criticised by other leftists and some in the union movement who label them as elitists. Their focus on socio-progressive and world issues has also seen them labelled as being out-of-touch by those from poorer backgrounds who have more pressing local concerns such as crime, unemployment, health care and the rising cost of utilities. While generally similar in mentality to the so-called "Champagne Socialists", the Latte-sipping Leftists differ mainly in their socio-economic status; they mostly hail from a middle-class background.

It's just so typical to see these latte-sipping leftists shout down and gang up on anyone who disagrees with them.

Leftist Privilege 

The mechanism by which radical leftist, anti-American, anti-capitalist, virtue signaling, race baiting, hyper-snowflakey, trigger warned, intellectually vapid purveyors of Social Justice and Identity Politics Dogma escape the scrutiny/skepticism/mocking/humiliation that they have rightly earned by plagiarizing and/or regurgitating fringe-left talking points, hot-button words and phrases like "White Supremacy", "White Privilege", ".........we will not allow _______ to come to ________ University and spew racist, sexist, misogynistic, xenophobic and transphobic......", "Hate Speech", "Whiteness as a Commodity", "Tangible Value of Whiteness", "Toxic Masculinity", "Gender Identity" and their most disgraceful example of rampant and offensive hypocrisy..........."Tolerance."

They, of course, escape this scrutiny/skepticism/mocking/humiliation because every single one of their journalistic colleagues are also blinded by, protected by, and suffer from......Leftist Privilege.

Jesse Benn, a contributor to HuffPo, who wrote that "White Athletes Still Standing For The Anthem Are Standing For White Supremacy", and John Eligon who wrote in the New York Times that the anthem protests had no place in the N.F.L. because of the Capitalistic nature of the league...........were exempted from much of the mockery and embarrassment they had coming thanks to their Leftist Privilege.
