'Fluddle' is a medium sized expanse of surface
water, to small to be a Flood, but to
big to be a Puddle.
It is an in-between acronym '
FL'OOD + P'UDDLE' = FLUDDLE.
A 'Fluddle' is commonly found on a dodgy B-road in the UK, just after a medium downpour of rain. There will usually be a sign just before it stating there to be a 'Flood' ahead. Upon approach
huge disappointment is felt after thinking there to be a Flood ahead, with the possibility of aquaplaning!!! Only to find a 'Fluddle', a medium sized expanse of
water with no real name.
