Imaginary tokens you get for being woke in public. You can't exchange them for anything, but getting them gives some sense of meaning to your life that is otherwise devoid of any value.

Samantha: OMG the other day I saw this white woman telling a girl not to speak Spanish in Starbucks. It was heart breaking. I had to intervene and set the woman straight and the latinx girl thanked me. Cant believe this is still happening in 2019.
Karen: Omg that was so inspiring. Did I tell you I found out my family used to own slaves? I was devastated.

People who more concerned with self-promotion, social media "likes", or selling books & lectures; than they are about Actual Deliverables.

People thought Tina cared about labor issues, considering how much she Tweeted about it, but it was all performative wokeness - she had no problems crossing picket-lines if the business offered a sale.
