One who has selective hearing, attitudes, opinions and biases toward a political party or candidate with disregard of actual facts.

It’s unfortunate that the political-selectivism of many in this country has led to blind allegiance based on emotion.

When Jenny arrived at University in the big city, she quickly realized the world was much bigger than (insert annonymous hick town). She figured she oughta live up to the University student cliche of protesting something, anything and found the guy behind the "down with the WTO" table very cute. She signed up immediately.

Dessert Selectivity

Noun: The culinary problem of having unlimited wants and needs for after dinner sweets but only a finite number of choices.

Don't get mad at me for eating the last piece of homemade apple pie, you had plenty of time to eat it but instead you used poor dessert selectivity and chose to eat a handful of tootsie rolls.

Selectivesexual

Somebody who isn't attracted to anybody or anything sexually, romantically, or emotionally until some(noun) meets their standards. There are multiple types of selectivesexuality, such as General Selectivesexuality (only has standards for humans and the human genders), or Omniselectivesexuality (would be okay with being attracted to any(noun), as long as they met their standards.

Eros: So, you can like girls, am I right?
Jeremy: Yes.
Eros: And you can also like boys, is that correct?
Jeremy: Yes it is.
Eros: So you're bi
Jeremy: No, I'm Selectivesexual. There's a difference.
