A phenomenon that occurs when in Star Trek Online, someone pets their tribble, and others nearby proceed to follow suit.

I went into a crowded space, and petted my tribble. Nearly everyone else nearby who had a tribble petted theirs, as well. Thus, the Tribble Effect.

A wad of curly hair found in the bathtub. If left unattended, tub tribbles will multiply asexually. In a very quiet bathroom, you can often hear them make soft cooing sounds. They will frequently grab and cling when handled, but usually they do not bite.
