An anonymous forum that uses only text to communicate. Very similar to an imageboard without the images.

AnonTalk, Awesometalk, or the 4chan textboards are examples of textboards.

Teleboards

1. An underfunded, poorly-managed forum composed of dysfunctional 'regulars' who hail from North America, Australia, Ireland, the U.K., and one kid from Scandinavia. Escape is for the most part nearly impossible.

2. Cul-de-sac of dementia, anti-social behavior, and neurosis in general.

Examples of Dialogue:

or text-tard, or texting retard, someone who has trouble sending text messages from a cell phone key pad (makes many mistakes, takes a long time to send a message or a reply) or someone who sends a text message (usually personal and not to be disclosed) to the wrong person.

Joe is such a textard, every time i text him, he takes forever to send a reply.

Jill had a textard moment when she sent a picture of her bare ass to her dad instead of her boyfriend.

Textarded

Retarded texter. Basically this could be any person who sends blank or incomplete texts or people who are completely slow at texting and also includes the severely textarded who won't even try or receive a text and don't even know what it is.

Bobby takes 4 hours sometimes to respond to a text. Sometimes he just sends me part of the text other times a text with nothing at all. He is so textarded!

That perpetual state of idiocy my neighbor enters whenever he tries to text half assed, retarded messages on his iPhone that say absolutely nothing useful, but leave me feeling perplexed, depressed, and a little violated somehow.

Textard

n. The combination of the words 'text' and 'retard'. Used to describe someone that will constantly use text-speak nearly to the point of you wanting to slap them several times for looking so unintelligent and all-around annoying. However, using frequent text language, with the acception of cell phones and actual text usage, does not make one a textard. To be a textard, they must use text-speak constantly for virtually every word in the sentence when it's unnecessary.
