skintitis 

An extremely severe condition resulting in complete loss of funds for those infected, if left untreated this can be fatal.

Symptoms usually start occuring around the 7th of each month following a salary payment and will remain until a further injection of cash is received.

Prognosis is the patient will suffer greatly for 3 weeks until they receive a critical injection of cash. This is usually only a temporary cure.

Other symptoms include an overwhelming urge to give away all your money to random people who do not care about you.

Serious symptoms to look out for are the patient randomly saying things such as:

"what can you do?" "I need a win" "I'll save some next month" "they are ok" "im cutting them right back"

Should you notice these symptoms in a patient, then unfortunately skintitis is now untreatable and the patient is destined for a slow and painful demise and will eventually succumb to skintitis within 6-12 months.

"Its only the 5th and hes scheming to get money already, the skintitis must be setting in early"

Shinyitis 

When you feel a compulsion to acquire a new and shiny gadget. Of course you don't need it, you already have lots and lots of gadgets. But you want something new and you want it in your hands now, to turn over and admire and fondle.
The term originated on the vaping forums. Vaping is the (sometimes obsessive) utilisation of electronic cigarettes.

Examples, each and every one a genuine quote from the forums.

1) Just watch out for the "new" illness... shinyitis... early symptoms creep up on you when you see a nice new shiny bit of kit and suddenly paypal appears on your screen, you lose all control of your finger hovering over the mouse button and then spend the following days wondering why the post is so late as you pace up and down. Beware, there is no cure!

2) That looks good! And it's got the same kind of curved tube as the Picollo, which means the Kayfun should sit nicely on it... Aaarrgghhh! Mad shinyitis!

3) Shinyitis is a disease and a constant flow of shiny tube mods is the cure.

4) Ohh, no. Shinyitis, another excuse to buy a Mech mod.

5) Been vaping for 4 weeks and I am having circulation problems in my bank account......oh hang on, that's shinyitis.

A term used to describe something that is moving in a quick jumpy fashion. Often the skittish object/person is acting without purpose and lacks premeditation.

The calico cat was sleeping on the floor then became very skittish when she randomly ran around the house chasing her own tail.

skintimidate 

(verb)

A portmanteau of the words "skin" and "intimidate". Used in online video games such as League of Legends to describe when one player intimidates another player by virtue of having a special skin (costume) for his character. Although skins are usually cosmetic in nature and do not bestow a player with any special powers or extra abilities, a skin may indicate that a player has a high skill level because he has invested a significant amount of time, energy, and money into a particular game.

Player 1: Dude, check out that guy's skin. Championship Riven.
Player 2: ...
Player 1: That skin is like $350 on eBay.
