To sit around and drink coffee instead of getting things done. Can be done while reading or watching TV.

I had fifty things I needed to do, but instead I just sat around and procaffinated with a book and my favorite mug.

To distract oneself with a creative or crafty project while subconsciously processing an intensely nerdy challenge. Typically occurs late in the day (procrafternoon) or at night (procrafternevening).

I hit a wall working on that crazy-complex Excel model, so I decided to procraftinate by converting my Ikea Billy Bookcase into a nightstand.
