On a Saturday in May, people are asked to put non~perishable food on their mailboxes for the letter carriers to pick up & it goes to a local food bank.

I had to put my mailbox food out the night before because I have a very late schedule. It makes me happy to help people.

Although there are a minority of Tamils, Telugus, and North Indians from the various eparchies in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, and northern & western India. Syro-Malabarians share the East Syriac liturgy with the Chaldean Catholics, Oriental Catholics from Iraq.
