ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD

It means that what may seem perfect is not all it's hyped up to me. And vice verca.
Take the life of a celebrity for example - It may seem like they live a good life; but in reality they are constantly hounded for autographs and have no privacy. So most people would say " all that glitters is not gold."

all that glitters is gold

From the song "Stairway To Heaven." There's a lady who's sure, all that glitters is gold... so, she believes a falsehood, but one that guides her nonetheless. This is a sardonic or dark spin on the age old saying that "all that is gold does not glitter."
Go to jail. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

all that glitters is gold

The common yet misconstrued assumption that everything having a shiny or gold like appearance has intrinsic value.
Dude she may be hot, but she has crabs. You can't think all that glitters is gold.

All that glitters is not gold

Someone can be smokin hot on the outside, but on the inside they are ugly as fuck! Steer clear of these bitches and bastards.
Whatch out for Pyryte Fools [Gold}. All that glitters is not gold!

A story about a Jersey girl following her dreams, aided by working at this bar in New York.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
