street epistemology

A non-threatening, often public, discourse; designed to identify, explore and possibly modify deeply held personal beliefs through the use of the Socratic method.
Through my exposure to street epistemology, it became evident to me that faith--as a foundation for sustaining religious belief--is unreliable. How could divergently opposing religious systems expect to use faith as a method of conveying revealed Truth, yet come to mutually incompatible conclusions? Answer: they can not.

Epistemology

The study of knowledge. It is the study of how you know what you know and how you came to know.
I learned about epistemology from a course on adult development.

epistemological skateboarding

/gerund phrase/

The application of any physical or mental knowledge acquired through the relatively sustained practice of side-walk surfing (aka skateboarding) to other domains, activities, or knowledge. Skateboard knowledge is necessarily applicable to other topics, since its very essence is the application of physical and mental knowledge derived from water surfing to activity taking place on non-liquid surfaces. However, skateboarding's evolution may be heading back to a more fluid medium, which might explain why skateboarders are so obsessed with air, as in "I'm catching big air" and "nice air dude!" As such, we may very well see flying skateboards in the near future.
<I totally landed that calculus problem!> The skateboard knowledge (epistemological skateboarding) applied here is as follows (skateboard knowledge in parentheses): if you keep trying to (land the trick) solve the problem, but (fall flat on your face) get marked off full points for it on your calculus mid-term, (get back up) practice solving the problem, (try again and again) and practice often, you will eventually be able to (land) solve the (trick) problem on the final exam.

epistemology

A true subject-object fallacy.

A structure of verification.

A metastructure in which even when one is wrong one is right.
Kant created a structure of truth (epistemology) out of aesthetic itself. This had wide-ranging ramifications for aesthetic, will, and ethics. This occurred even though Kant used the term "aesthetic" to refer to form which was technically incorrect (aesthetic is contrapositive to form).

Marx also created an epistemology but his epistemology cannot answer Kant's epistemology because Marx created a structure of truth from form (formalism).

Also: the study of a structure of verification.

Meta-structure.
The blockchain is an example of an epistemology.

Episstemology

The study of why people get pissed off OR The study of stages of alcoholic inebriation from light buzz to dead drunk.
John's episstemology is kinda weird. First he gets very garralous, then after about half an hour of steady drinking, he just passes out.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
