personal vaporising device
This is a device for turning liquids into smoke-like vapour. The liquid can contain nicotine and is usually called e-liquid.
Also known as an e-cig, electronic cigarette, technofogger and vaporette.
It is a battery powered device that emits a flavored fog containing nicotine (if the user prefers it) when inhaled. It is an alternative to real cigarettes, and contains no tobacco, tar, or the thousands of chemicals in tobacco smoke. It also produces no second hand smoke which makes it legal to smoke in most establishments.
The device uses a liquid to produce the fog. The liquid consists of pharmaceutical grade Propylene Glycol, flavorings, and nicotine. Nicotine amounts are typically available in ranges of 0-36mg per ml. A small amount of users will experience an allergic reaction to PG and should discontinue use if symptoms appear. Care should be taken to keep the liquid out of reach of children and/or pets as nicotine is a poison.
The personal vaporising device comes in various models and colors, most of which are similar to the size of actual cigarettes and cigars.

alternate saying for a lighter, rumor has it that it was invented by some urban wanderers wandering Tel Aviv for redemption and sexual pursuit. English speakers unable to speak Hebrew for shit these tourists went around asking Israelis to borrow their "fire device"

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. This term is most frequently heard in Paris but is slowly spreading to other parts of France.

A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.
Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”
Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
