braschism

(n.) a goofy word or phrase used as an exclamation when vulgarity or predictability is unwelcome.

'In literature, our teacher often uses braschisms instead of more mainstream expletives.'

instead of saying bull crap or bulls*** use "bull willy nilly",
instead of what the heck or what the h*** say "what the noodle",
instead of crazy or amazing say "craptastical"
