yeah you know what alright, yeah 

phrase used when one is excited, pleasantly surprised, confused or has nothing else to say. normally said in a high pitched tone while nodding the head. also said sometimes in order to laugh off something embarrassing someone just said.
Ethyl: "You have just won 9 million dollars!"
Saruh: "Yeah you know what alright, yeah!"

Harvey: "You are quite possibly the most beautiful girl I have ever laid eyes on."
Myrtle: "Yeah you know what alright, yeah!"

Tilly: "Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas."

An increasingly used phrase that one utters while paying half-attention to a conversation, agreeing, then realizing that they possibly agreed to or missed out on something important which they are otherwise unprepared to handle or agree to.

Danny: Tony, I've been hiding my feelings for you for so long because I wasn't sure you felt the same. I've been in the closet for so long that this is really difficult for me. 1. Phrase usually used to indicate a state of crunkness which can no longer be contained.

2. Also used to express agreement, approval, and/or satisfaction of a high level.

3. Indicative of a lack of vocabulary, supposedly mirroring Lil Jon's inability to speak more than one word at a time. From a Dave Chappelle skit.

a phrase coined by Homer Simpson where a situation doesn't typically favor one's way and they're either powerless or too lazy to do anything about it.
Marge: (checking mail) Hmm free sample of Lemon Time Homer: Ooh, give it here. (chuggs bottle) Marge: Homer that's dishwashing liquid! Homer: yeah, but what are you going to do?

what? oh, umm...yeah...sure. 

what you say when you werent listening to or dont understand or dont know how to answer the question asked OR when the answer is complicated and you dont feel like explaining it or when you have no straight-foward answer.
1) Wife: "Honey, what do you want for dinner?"
Husband: "what? oh, umm...yeah...sure."

2) 6th grader: "Dad, if 3 Xes equal 9 Zs, then how many Xs equal 1 Y?"
Dad: "what? oh, umm...yeah...sure."

trucker's tan 

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
