When a company or political party, or even a movement continues to doubling or tripling down on something so many times to a point that it's more than double or triple.

Disney continues to virtue signal in their new content and they just keep upling down on the messages that the vast majority of audiences don't want to hear about anymore.

Upsinging 

Technique of singing, recently popularized by Bob Dylan (done regularly starting circa 2002), that involves raising the pitch of one's voice for the last word or last few words of a line. Generally disliked by his fans.

To hold someone up with a pistol or knife, after demanding they raise, or, "up" they hands. Can end in murder, robbery, extortion or hug. No in-between.

uplink 

A video game, produced in 2000 by introversion software, an english (see England) company. It is a game about hacking (see hack and hacker) in the year 2010. While not realistic to "real" hacking, it is similar to "movie" hacking.

It is a breakthrough in modern games on the PC, because it was made though so-called "bedroom programming".

I was playing Uplink and I got caught; so I had to hack the GCD (Global Criminal Database) to clear my record and get a new job.
