When one person talks about their accomplishment, another person in their discussion chimes in about how they have either already done that or how they have done something else. Common among friend groups, and acquaintances.

Upsinging

Technique of singing, recently popularized by Bob Dylan (done regularly starting circa 2002), that involves raising the pitch of one's voice for the last word or last few words of a line. Generally disliked by his fans.
