Shummin'

To Swing your hand violently over your head in a circular motion. Can be executed with a fist or more effectively with a hand placed in the "Number 1" setting. Frequently done instead of dancing to assert dominance at a bar or club. Usually people shum during sexual intercourse, or when they are heavily intoxicated. See: hossed or haused.

US Army terminology utilized to describe a person or people who ditch work/responsibility in favor of taking a nap and then planning some type of criminal behavior thereafter. Akin to the phraseology "Chillin' like a Villain."

Soldier #1: Hey, have you seen Private Snuffy?

Soldier #2: Nah, dude, I think he went to take a nap. He said something about a plan to steal MRE's out of the supply room and sell them on Ebay.

Soldier #1: Ah, so he is Shammin' and Scammin'?

Soldier #2: Yep.
