Shmemlin 

A sub-species child of eleven or twelve, not ugly, not pretty but quite funny looking. Usually have a last name which explains their funny-lookingness like something that sounds like inbred or incest. When they insult you by means of a hand gesture, they will usually stick put their thumb out as well as a middle finger and give a cheesey, weird smile.

Jesus, have you seen his wide-apart eyes, chapped lips and the way he put his middle finger AND thumb up when he insults you? He's a real shmemlin.

The act of continuing to date a girl you want to break up with while you start dating a new girl. It usually occurs because you either don't't know how to break up with your girlfriend, or because you want insurance in case the new girlfriend doesn't work out. The period of overlap is like the way shingles overlap on a roof.

Shelling is the removal of finished cigarette ends; ie cigerarette butt tobacco

Typically shelling is to supply the addict with a new cigarette using left over tobacco when a new packet is unaffordable to obtain.

Shelling usually occurs 1 to 2 days before government benefits or a low wage income has been received.

Simply “Shelling” is the removal of tobacco from a used cigarette.

The word Shell’s is used as a singular cigarette butt.

Andrew spent an hour shelling Tobacco from a days pavement sweeping.
