The irreversible act of a God willingly getting rid of their omnipotent power to become mortal, often through sacrifice, bloodletting, or mortal rebirth. A sacred descent rather than a fall to be amongst humans.

secessionist

A person who isn't happy with the established order and is obsessed with revisiting a time when they imagine life was better. Often relating to Jacobean times when Scots believed the Stuarts promised nirvana and a utopian ideal. Currently the Stuarts have been replaced by Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP.

The secessionists reckon anyone who disputes their cause is a mere quisling, a misguided twat.

A flesh eating inflamation of the patellae, spreading slowly to the tibia and fibula, until gangrene kicks in and urgent amputational surgery is necessary.
