The Pantomime Factor

The Pantomime Factor is a device used by writers of film and TV dramas that has the audience shouting at the screen, when what the hero or heroine is about to do, defies imagination and logic.
An example of The Pantomime Factor.

The heroine on a dark night walks alone into her unlit house which clearly has had a forced entry and fails to see a figure lurking in the dark as they stumble about, never even thinking about turning on a light.
More impressionable observers will be shouting; "Look out behind you!" and similar warnings at the screen, but of course to no avail.

Panton Hug

Aviation term used to explain the 12 hour shift your about to work for no reason.

To work without accomplishing anything, getting hosed, screwed, fucked over, fucked in the ass.

To perform recreational maintenance on aircraft that are not going to fly or even on the flying schedule.
Well fella's, looks like were getting another Panton Hug tonight.

Panton Hugs all around!

pansonitis

grease develops in the throat of larger people and makes their voice sound smoother and lower than average. Excessive pansonitis may cause swelling in the groin and chest areas due to spread from lungs to other parts of the body.
I cant go over to your house today my pansonitis has got really bad, I can barely breath.

1. To act out in a very over the top way.

2. A truly mad old English tradition still performed today of rampant cross dressing and Carry On style humour performed on stage primarily for kids.

Extremely popular at Christmas and always traditionally contains the phrase 'It's behind you!' no matter what the production. Also the place where z-list celebs earn their keep.

Completely hatstand! All Americans should catch one when in Blighty, as it will pop their heads!
1. God this is getting to be a right pantomime.

2. I wonder which long forgotten reality TV show 'celebrity' will be the pantomime dame in our production of Cinderella?

A British form of comic theatre for a family audience. Typically features a number of stock characters, such as the dame, an exagerrated female character played by a man in drag; and the principal boy, usually the title character, played by a woman.

Pantomimes, also known as pantos, are usually based on classic fairy tales or children's stories, such as Snow White, Cinderella, Dick Whittington and Jack and the Beanstalk.

The audience is expected to get involved, by shouting "He's behind you", "Oh, no it isn't", "Oh, yes it is", etc, or booing and hissing the main villian.
Did you know Ian McKellen is staring in a pantomime this year?
