Or does it exist because of its function, because the chair is there to be sat upon? What it means for something to exist is ontology, and both of these examples would work.

Ownto 

On the show Torchwood, the relationship between the characters Owen Harper (Team medic) and Ianto Jones is known widely as Ownto. (combination of their two names).

It is also a very good pairing indeed.
