A community on Instagram filled with people who kin fictional characters. A lot of them are delusional and claim to be delusional themselves. They usually have a Carrd, a Rentry, or Txties (separate websites) on their page to explain who they are, who they kin, what illnesses they have, their triggers, who they don't want on their page (aka a DNI list), and etc.
The community is pretty mixed with normal people who are just there for the fun of it, and toxic people who glorify mental illness, spam gore content, dox people, harass people, etc. They can also be racist, homophobic, etc. believe it or not…
Kinstagram accounts are also usually spam accounts, which are mostly private. They post about their day, their thoughts, their friends and/or lovers, and their favorite media and characters. They're also known to vent on their accounts as well. They also post Tag Posts.
TLDR: Kinstagram is a community on Instagram filled with people who kin fictional characters and people who think they are existing fictional characters in real life. The Kinstagram community is infamous for being pretty toxic and unhealthy.
