A disparaging word combining the American slang "grunt" (a U.S. Marine) and the Japanese word "gaijin" (foreigner). Grunt + gaijin = Grunjin.

A section of a tree branch (or small trunk) that was sawed off after growing through a chain-link fence, but remains embedded in the fence until it rots away.

Due to lack of maintenance, the canal fence on our property is riddled with grunlinks.
