The plural verison of the word gruffus a word used to Identify the people or group of people that are acting very gruff. Multiple or group or people who presents themselves with a voice that sounds low, rough, and unfriendly, or behavior that is abrupt, stern, and impatient.

They were a bunch of gruffi today at the board meeting cutting me off with everything i said.
