gauntlets

Fingerless short or long black leather, lace, satin, mesh, or fishnet forearm covers; some have a thumbhole; goth, biker~looking, or high~fashion feminine types. They're Badass! Can have patterns, tie~around straps, velvet, available in many different styles including ones with zippers & skulls.

I have so many pair of different pairs of gauntlets but my favorite are black leather with a long zipper~they go all the way to my elbow, & they have little metal skulls on them!

Run the gauntlet

The chocolate gauntlet is the aisle in a shop which the queue runs through, it is normally stocked with chocolate bars, sweets, condoms and other impulse items. So it is almost impossible to run the chocolate gauntlet without being tempted to buy something.

Steve only went in to buy milk but had to run the chocolate gauntlet, and ended up buying spending all of his beer money.

Shower Gauntlet

A game you can play in prison in the showers. A convict will lather himself with soap, and the other inmates will form a two sided line. The runner will try to make it through the line without getting knocked down or slipping.

Frank tried to run the shower gauntlet last night, and he slipped and fell, landing face down. A big fella landed face down on top of him, and well, you can imagine it from there.
