Corpromise

Pronounced: Corp-ro-mise

When politicians, decision makers, or individuals compromise their own personal values in order to bow to corporate greed.
1) Recently a plan was announced to limit the number of servings of potatoes in school provided lunches to two servings per week. The goal was to help improve children's diets and foster a healthier lifestyle. The senate voted this plan down due to pressure from the potato industry and lobbyists. This is an example of corpromising.

2) Today at work I corpromised my values by not speaking up as I knew my political opinions differed from those of my manager.

Compromised to a permanent end

Being killed, as coined by WWE superstar John Cena.
The President has just announced that we have caught and compromised to a permanent end Osama bin Laden.

GOP Compromise

A type of oxymoron.

Ask for more then you target amount of concessions from the opposition party. Then argue down to you what you originally wanted to begin with giving the illusion of compromise.
Billy wanted a cookie so he demand three from his mother. She said no, so he made a GOP Compromise and ask for one cookie. Not wanting to see a melt-down his mom gave him one cookie.

Republican compromise

The act of tricking someone more powerful than you into giving you what you say you want, and then throwing said item on the ground (metaphorically or for real) and spitting in their face.
Thanks, Obama, for giving us some tax cuts and taking out stuff that you wanted... but we're not gonna vote for your stimulus bill anyway. None of us. That's what we call a "Republican compromise". Sucker!

Corprolite

(n.) A mashup of two words: Corporate, and Coprolite, which is a fossilized turd.

Used to describe entrenched middle management common to many workplaces, especially those members who have been in their jobs too long to be dismissed despite adding nothing more valuable to the company than would an ancient piece of rock-hard poop.
Employee 1: Hey, how'd your new idea go over with the big CEO?

Employee 2: It never got to him. Some corprolite decided he wanted things to stay the same around here and threw away my memo.

Passing middle manager, to himself: Corprolite? Sounds like new business jargon. I'll have to make sure I use that in my next presentation to the board!

2/7 Compromise

The 2/7 compromise was established in 1818, to allow residents of the state known as Illinois to be considered partial people. The compromise was created after much arguing in meeting with Illinois and Wisconsin residents. (although most of the arguing was between the FIBs). After 14 days of nonstop meetings, the 2/7 compromise was created. Although many Wisconsin residents disagreed with allowing them privileges, the majority of them agreed that they need a couple rights.

The 2/7 compromise includes the following rights to FIBs:
* The right to drive on Wisconsin freeways, but must pay speeding tickets regularly.

* The right to vote in Illinois State elections.
* The right to Kenosha.
* The right to visit Mars Cheese Castle.

Although these rights were established to allow Illinois residents to be considered partial people, it does not cover FIBs from Itasca. Unfortunately they were unable to show at the meeting and thus were not allowed to take part in the compromise.
-Why is that FIB driving on I94
-They won that in the 2/7 Compromise
- Oh yeah that's right.
