Intense purring and writhing by a cat while receiving affection from a human that goes beyond a typically more mild response.
I just gave her a quick scratch on the side of her head and (insert cat's name) wouldn't stop purring and rubbing up against me. I think she was having a CATASM for Christ Sakes!
