Brodieism

A religion formed in honor of our lord and saviour Brodie
“I’ve converted to Brodieism”
Words you can keep
The worship of bipartisanship for its own sake, combined with a fake "pox on both their houses" attitude. The main goal is the establishment of a permanent ruling class of Washington insiders, our betters who know better. It is their rough agenda which is sold as "centrism" even when it has no actual relationship with the political center in a meaningful way. The establishment of an aristocratic class in America.

The belief that it all sides are equal and must compromise at all times. Regardless of the final outcome or the level of understanding or intelligence presented by each side.
Mark Foley had a bad relationship with pages; Sen. Vitter has visited Prositutes in New Orleans and Washington; Sen Craig tried to proposition an undercover officer; Newt Gingrich had multiple afairs; Duke Cunningham was bribed with Prostitutes; but William Jefferson had money in his fridge so both sides are clearly evil.

Wow, that's quite a Broderism.

Broicism

An offshoot of the often misrepresented Stoicism, which places disproportionate focus on bravery, action and cold showers; to the exclusion of compassion and wisdom which are the Stoic traits that underpin all the other virtues. Being strong means nothing without also being wise, guys. Make choices that are for the greater good of all, including yourself. But don't use this philosophy as justification for actions that are reckless, self-seeking or dangerous. Stoicism is about walking away from potential sources of chaos in your life, not towards them. Sure, get over yourself, but this doesn't have to be at the cost of treading on anyone else. And what's more, it requires no muscles, financial success or approval of your friends. Stoicism is about being free from all that. Why not go onto r/stoicism and find out what it's really about, freedom awaits. Amor Fati.
People into Broicism often know far too little about Stoicism

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
