Blankship

A Blankship is an unclassified “relationship” with another person. From the word "Blank" because there is no right fit prefix to classify your interactions. Communications and behaviors don't fit all basic the criteria for a classic Relationship, friendship or even situationship. There can be hugs, holding hands but no kissing or sex. A blankship offers or meet only basic rights, privileges, duties, commitment and expectations. Also known as a nothingship.

I find myself actually being in a Blankship with someone i care for. He is not referring to us as being in a friendship, relationship or even situationship. So...yeah...it is a nothingship or a blankship.

The term seems to have originated from Tumblr

Don Blankenship

The meanest CEO (Chief Evil Officer) in America. He runs a criminal enterprise called Massey Energy. Since the turn of the century, 52 miners hae died in his coal mines in West Virginia. He is also known for poisoning people's drinking water by blowing off the tops of mountains to extract thin seams of coal and for busting unions so that miners cannot voice their claims about safety violations.

As the head of Massey Energy, Don Blankenship is criminally responsible for 29 deaths at Massey Energy's Upper Big Branch mine in West Virginia due to his repeated failure to listen to his miners about safety problems in his mines, especially those dealing with ventilation. He should spend the rest of his life in jail for these failures.
