Aneristic

From the theological principles of the Church of the Subgenius:

"Aneristic" literally means "without Eris", and is diametrically opposed to the word "Eristic".

Eris is the goddess of strife, discord, contention and chaos. She is often represented specifically as the goddess of the strife of war, who haunted the battlefield and delighted in human bloodshed.

Other meanings include: orderly, organized, systemized, i.e., NOT CHAOTIC, etc. You get the idea.

Mythology: Because of Eris' disagreeable nature she was the only goddess not to be invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis. When she turned up anyway, she was refused admittance and, in a rage, threw a golden apple amongst the goddesses inscribed "Kaliste" meaning "To the most beautiful." Three goddesses laid claim it, and in their rivalry brought about the events which led to the Trojan War.

Eris was closely identified with the war-goddess Enyo. Indeed Homer uses the names interchangeably. Her Roman name was Discordia.
The Aneristic Principle is that of Apparent Order; the Eristic Principle is that of Apparent Disorder.

Amerisplaning

When an American tries to lecture or educate an immigrant/person from another country about their own culture and nationality.
An example of Amerisplaning-
Milica: “I’m serbian”
Becky: “No you’re Russian”

Milica: “No, Serbia isn’t in Russia”
Becky: “You speak Russian so it’s basically the same thing”

Amerisplain

A provincial attitude held by some American's that the United States is the only country in the world that has any merit. It's expressed as a condescending attitude to foreigners as being weird or their culture is in someone a mistake. It's the opposite of being humble or respectful.
American: "I wouldn't expect a European or a Latin American to understand football" .

European: Thanks for the Amerisplain, we've been playing football for over a hundred years and we use our feet to kick the ball, that's why it's called football.

"Dude you eat uncooked fish..you're weird"!!

Weird? Interesting Amerisplain, in my culture we've been eating sushi for longer than you're country has existed.

Amerixican Movement

A contemporary Mexican American movement that challenges Chicanos and their interpretation of history, culture, and identity. The Amerixican Movement was born out of a need for an ideology that would be relevant to the poor and working class. It was Mexican American prisoners that first realized that our so called leaders weren't practicing what they preached. This created a division that pits the Chicano/GED (the common people) versus the Chicano/Ph.D. (the educated middle and upper class).
The Amerixican Movement is an ideological battle within the Mexican American community. The university Chicanos and their organizations should be commended for continuing to defend our civil rights, but they need to be chastised for redefining our identity, culture, and history. The Amerixican Movement has identified the destructive tenets of Chicanismo and their Aztlan fantasy and is now on a mission to set the record straight for the good of La Raza.
