Whedonitis

A tendency to parrot the speech patterns of various Joss Whedon characters and incorporate the slang from various Whedonverses (Buffy. Firefly, Angel, etc) into every day speech.
Every time I use the word "shiny" people look at me strangely--as though they never spoken to someone suffering from Whedonitis.

An enthusiastic follower of the works of Joss Whedon; a fanatical supporter of the 'Whedonverse' - stories and characters created by Whedon.

Equivalent to 'trekkies' (or 'trekkers') whom are fanatical about the Star Trek franchise/fictional universe.
a) "Whedonites are worse than trekkies!"

b) "I'll watch anything with Sarah Michelle Gellar in, I'm such a Whedonite!"

c) "We can't let the networks cancel Joss's latest show, come on Whedonites let's start a letter writing campaign!"

A word describing anything Joss Whedon has ever created, Namely Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, the short-lived TV shoe Firefly, and the movie Serenity.
Dude, anything in the Whedonverse is practically my religion.
