The denial or dismissal of a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning. The ignoring, denying or dismissing of one's own intuition.
When her tall, extremely fit, handsome partner arrived and presented her with a bouquet of beautiful, fragrant roses, her untuition took over and she allowed herself to, once again, to sleep with him despite clear signs and patterns of lying, cheating and overall disrespect for her as a woman.
