When a computer application has not received any useful update in many years and the users start to migrate to competing software not because they are necessarily better, but because they have regular updates.

Background:
The popular Mac text editor TextMate has not had any useful update in over 4 years. Leading to many TextMate users leaving for alternative text editors.
Tiz: "QuickSilver is quickly becoming textmated."
Miz: "Yeah, I textmated to LaunchBar last month. I wish they had a picture based UI like QuickSilver."

Bounce: "I textmated to BBEdit last week, it's going to take awhile to get used to, but at least I know there are going to be regular updates."

We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
