Get the Puñetas mug.Within prefix origins ´´Puño´´, means ´´fist´´. The word has evolved with some imagination to refer to jerking off, with a fist motion of course. However, these words have lots of meanings depending on the context. Often it can be used as an adjective defining someone who complains alot or betrays you. Its use could be as simple as defining something as annoying.
ie: That fucking virus!

Get the puñetero/puñetas mug.This is explaining how puñeta is used only in my country of Puerto Rico. I see many people not giving the right definition when mentioning Puerto Rico.
There are two ways used in P.R.:
1) Puñeta (never with an s on the end) is a vulgar curse word used for expressing frustration, in a sudden moment of scare or used to say "I don't give a damn or shit". Also other words that can replace this expression could be: "carajo, coño, mierda, cojones"
2) A "Puñeta" also refers to the act of masturbation and it also used in plural with an s at the end.
