Young guns and old timers

When you need an excuse to have both younger generations of talent but also keep some old guys around the shop for experience even though they don’t know shit cause they are old and forgot
Their staff is full of young guns and old timers

for old times' sake

as a way of remembering something pleasent from the past
Honestly, our theater group should reunite – just for old times' sake.

old timer's disease

An affliction in individuals over age 60 that causes them to be unable to stop telling stories about "the good old days"

possibly a hereditary condition
When I turn 60 I'm sure I'll be boring everyone talking about my high school days because old timer's disease runs in my family.

Old-Timer

Old person. Usually an insult, and often used when talking directly to said old person. Slightly less derogatory than geezer.
"Hey, old-timer, why don't you learn how to parallel park?
