This will generally happen when friends with benefits stop being beneficial and sometimes between ex-partners. One of the people does not want to associate with you for different reasons i.e. they have seen you naked and can’t see past that, they developed strong feelings for you or they don’t have feelings for you anymore, they just plain don’t like your sex game, etc. Instead of staying as your friend and just as friends, they don’t want to talk to you again. You lose the person you were shagging AND you lose a friend.

Hence, you’re fucked.

Person 1: Can we at least get some junk food and talk about this?

Person 2: No I really don’t want to drag this out. You give horrible blowjobs and now this feels weird to go back to friends.

Person 1: I guess I’m in the fuckedzone then.

Fuckzone 

A particularly disappointing metaphorical place, that people end up in when someone they are interested in only wants a sexual relationship. It is impossible to get emotionally invested in someone while in the fuckzone, because, as friends with benefits , you still see them too often for them to be erased from your memory, and yet, you cannot be with them the way you want.

Person 1: Hypothetically, how would you react if I told you I like you?

Person 2: I'm sorry, I don't mean to hurt you, but I only want to have casual sex
Person 1 is now relegated to just a fling held within the fuckzone

A variant of fuckedupness that is severe and profound.

Noun - 1. The degree to which something is fucked up.
2. A general state of "nothing going right" over time, whereas 1 (above) shows a specific level to which something is fucked up.
3. The level to which someone is intoxicated.
4. The degree to which something is unfair or detrimental to someone.

Fuckedupness is a noun, where as fucked up itself is an adjective.

Example for #1 above: The level of fuckedupness at the company was higher than usual.

Example for #2 above: The Bush presidency suffers from fuckedupness.

Example for #3 above: John drank so many beers his level of fuckedupness was off the Breathalyzer.

Example for #4 above: The fuckedupness of one's whole family dying in a car wreck is incalculable
