The act of being physically close to a romantic partner, kissing, touching, etc., all while remaining fully clothed, AND sexually frustrated as the night never progresses past cuddling.

Friend 1: "How was your date last night? You went to her place, right?"

Friend 2: "Well, I thought I'd get lucky finally, but all I got was another cuddlejob."

Friend 1: "Blue balls for you, amigo!"

When someone, usually a girl, feels an intense need to cuddle, kiss, or hug someone. It may also come with a desire to have their hair played with, or to simply have some sort of semi-romantic to romantic physical contact. It may also go along with feeling horngry.

cuddlecore

Originally used to jokingly describe the sound of Vancouver, BC punk band cub (sic) and coined by friend Nicolas Bragg. It was meant to be an antithesis to the crotch-rock/clit-rock/riot grrrl/foxcore bands of the early-mid 1990's such as L7, Hole, Bratmobile, The Muffs, et al. Incorrectly used to describe the sound and fashions of other bands.

"Cuddlecor '94" as per the liner notes on their "Come Out, Come Out" album.
