Bromeln (Verb)

Definition:
Ein umgangssprachlicher Begriff für exzessives Videospielen, ähnlich wie „zocken“ oder „daddeln“. Wird oft verwendet, wenn jemand stundenlang in ein Game vertieft ist oder dabei die Zeit vergisst.

Beispiele:
1. „Ey, kommst du noch raus?“
– „Ne, ich bin am bromeln. Noch eine Runde!“
2. „Er hat das ganze Wochenende nur gebromelt und kaum geschlafen.“

Herkunft:
Das Wort bromeln ist eine kreative Neuerfindung und könnte sich aus einer zufälligen Wortschöpfung entwickelt haben. Es hat keinen direkten Bezug zu bestehenden Begriffen, sondern soll als frisches Slang-Wort für Gaming etabliert werden.

The act of substituting or changing a word to incorporate the word bro to make you more awesome or appealing to a crowd of fellow males.

Examples of Bromenclature :
"Randall hooked it up with a fake I.D. so I could mack on all the skeezy bar sleeze. What a fuckin Bromosapien."
"Dude, Eric copped out on us again to hang out with his woman, what a faux-breaux."
"Thanks for the lift Brobi Wan Kenobi!"

Bromeleon

A Bromeleon, commonly known as bro, is another name for the sort of person who listens to the same music as everybody else, wears the same clothes, says "whats up bro", and by instinct, just tries to blend in with the rest of the crowd. Kind of like a chameleon but browise.

Terri: Dude, kegger at my house bro, tons of chicks, lots of lil' wayne, yeager bombs up the ying yang . And can you say beer pong?

Ken: Bro!, all I'm sayin is I hope you got your fade.
