Portmanteau of "Word" and "Murder".

Taking the power of a previously good, effective, useful, motivational word and bastardize/beat it to death through unwholesome dispositions, behaviors, people, etm..

Example 1:

Trying to read comments on message boards is frequently futile because of users' habit of committing wurder.
