Thrillbrick

Sometimes a name is not enough. Sometimes a certain person needs more than a given name to identify them, they need something they can live by. A mantra if you will that can define them and yet encompass all that they represent. On very special occasions this type of person

will meet another, often smarter, type of person that is able to see this person and bestow upon them this name, this Title.

Thrillbrick is the culmination of wit and ingenuity in nickname giving. The exact origins are unclear, yet rumours abound as to who actually set forth this name onto another human being. Some say he towered well over 6 foot above the Earth, others almost 7 feet . Blonde, blue eyed, immaculately presented and skilled. A Wordsmith. We may never see his like again, and as such it has been suggested we should bask in his

glory while it is present.

Use this nickname sparingly, for it should not be used in vain.

Thrifter

Someone that religiously shops at Thrift Stores looking for bargains and often scores amazing deals. Often dedicated to recycling and reuse of products to keep our planet "greener".
"I'm a real fan of Thrift Stores. They call me a Thrifter, but in a good way! It's amazing the deals you can find. I found a beautiful designer handbag at one last week for $8.00!! Thrifting is my life - and reusing instead of throwing everything away is better for our environment"

cast-attrition thriller

A film sub-genre in which the characters are picked off one by one, often by a masked killer or malignant force. Salient examples: Friday the 13th (Jason); Final Destination (Death); Sunshine (the Sun).

Coined by Tasha Robinson of the AV Club to describe Danny Boyle's film "Sunshine"(2007).
Originating quote, from the review of "Sunshine"(2007) -
In many ways, Sunshine is a been-there-done-that cast-attrition thriller: Alien with an exterior monster instead of an interior one, Event Horizon with better effects and less gore, Pitch Black with the contrast turned way up. The cast members make wry jokes about getting eliminated one at a time, horror-movie style, but they still follow all the horror-movie procedures, even duly splitting up in a dangerous, unknown situation. It's like they've gracefully accepted that they're just hitting a series of predestined, genre-mandated marks. - Tasha Robinson, Onion A.V. Club
