Spelty 

An adverb that draws attention to the misspelling of a word. Most appropriately used when someone is being too serious.

spelter 

Spelter is an archaic term for zinc but is usually seen as an alloy, containing mainly zinc with variable proportions of other metals including tin, lead and copper.

Probably first used as a brazing metal to weld other pieces with higher melting points...It was discovered to be a quick and easy casting metal which could be used to reproduce many items from a mould.

Much used in the 19th and early 20th century - mainly figurines and figural groups.
Some very large sculptural pieces were made but more usually, decorative house ware.
Often used as a cheaper alternative to bronze or to copy bronze pieces. See Monkey Metal

Spelt

The past tense of spell. Alternative spelling is spelled. Americans may not use this term, as it was almost sacrificed to Webster's mania for making English over in his image in that dictionary. This is why we say that you speak 'American' rather than English. Many words are spelt differently or not used there, except as (sic) mispellings. If you still disagree, visit the Oxford English Dictionary online. I believe the OED is generally conceded to be the final arbiter of disputes concerning vocabulary in English, is it not? They say that I'm right.
They also say it's a tasty little grain that's very good for you.

Spelly: The word "spelly" is a common word in the Bahamas. It's used when someone is two-faced.

1st person: "One day I saw the girl making out with her boyfriend's brother"

Speltard: someone who not only can't spell worth a shit but is also too stupid to look the word up in the dictionary and correct it. Also, a person who consistently misfiles things because they can't get it through their thick head that ABX comes before AXB.

I can't believe they let speltards graduate from university." Or, "Who are the fucking speltards that keep misfiling shit around here?
